Canada’s Caregiver Immigration Program provides a pathway to permanent residence (PR) for foreign caregivers who work with children, seniors, or individuals with medical needs.
Caregiver Immigration Pathways
There are two main caregiver programs in Canada:
1. Home Child Care Provider Pilot (HCCPP)
For caregivers who care for children under 18 in a private home.
2. Home Support Worker Pilot (HSWP)
For caregivers who assist seniors or people with disabilities in private homes.
Both programs offer a work permit and a direct route to PR after gaining enough work experience.
